Breast Cancer

Massage therapy for pre and post surgical recovery relating to breast cancer. Addresses swelling, tenderness, scar tissue, movement restrictions, and discomfort related to lumpectomy, partial or full mastectomy. After breast cancer, therapy can be beneficial for general lymphatic health and lymphedema management.


Other Cancers

Massage therapy for pre and post surgical recovery relating to ovarian, prostate or other types of cancer. Addresses swelling, tenderness, scar tissue, movement restrictions, and discomfort related to recovery. After cancer, therapy can be beneficial for general lymphatic health and lymphedema management.


Before & During Radiation

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialized massage used during and after radiation to reduce swelling and inflammation, soften hardened (fibrotic) tissue, and help manage secondary lymphedema caused by radiation. Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialized massage used during and after radiation to reduce swelling and inflammation, soften hardened (fibrotic) tissue, and help manage secondary lymphedema caused by radiation. MLD helps stimulate lymph flow under the skin, often providing soothing comfort to skin and tissues affected by radiation.

Ideally, at least one session should be scheduled before starting radiation and continue during & after radiation for 1-2 weeks as skin recovers.

Treatment can also be provided for those using Mepitel® Film during radiation.
